Overview
Aabhishek is Partner in Trilegal’s Corporate practice. He has more than 17 years of post-qualification experience in general corporate and commercial matters. He has extensively worked on:
- M&A and Joint Venture Transactions: Led several domestic, and cross-border, strategic M&A transactions and joint ventures.
- PE & VC Investments: Advised on several investment transactions and diligences in a variety of sectors, including e-commerce, banking, manufacturing, telecom, pharma, education, and real estate.
- India Entry Advisory: Offers end to end solutions for setting up presence of technology, Industrial, and education sector companies in India.
- General Corporate Matters: Regularly issuing legal opinions and solutions on complex matters of company laws, FDI regulations, RBI directions, and SEBI laws.
- Regulatory: Liaised with prominent regulatory bodies such as the Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and the Department of Telecom, Government of India, for approvals, clarifications, and policy work.

- Advised global testing giant Graduate Management Admission Council in its acquisition of the NMAT Test from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai (NMIMS).
- Setting up of market Law School Admission Council’s presence in India to conduct and market Law School Admission Test – India.
- Advised Riverside Learning Centre on structuring its franchise arrangements, and strategic collaborations with pre-schools across India and Japan.
