Overview
Aditya has over 17 years of experience and has been recognised as a market leader in securitisation and structured finance. His areas of experience include banking and finance, securitisation, structured finance, debt capital markets, foreign currency lending (including external commercial borrowings and overseas direct investment transactions), trade finance, inter-bank lending, and syndicated lending. Aditya’s experience also includes a secondment to ANZ for a period of 1 year to provide legal assistance to the branch set-up team enabling ANZ’s re-entry into the Indian banking sector.
Aditya and his team are frequently called on to advise on cutting-edge securitisation transactions, which often are “industry firsts”, and become trendsetters thereafter. Aditya’s previous representations have been recognised as the “Most Innovative Deal of the Year” in the Indian Securitisation Awards in 2021 and 2023.

Select representative clients/matters
- Listed invoice-backed securitisation of receivables arising out of agreements in relation to the procurement and sale of certain identified agri-commodities with certain identified purchasers undertaken by Origo Commodities India Private Limited, an entity engaged in providing agricultural supply chain solutions. This transaction, arranged by Vivriti Capital, was one of the first few issuances of listed securitized debt instruments (SDIs), and the first listed securitisation involving agri-commodities. This transaction was awarded the “Most Innovative Deal of the Year” in the Indian Securitisation Awards, 2023.
- Securitisation of agricultural commodities’ receivables under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue and Listing of Securitised Debt Instruments and Security Receipts) Regulations, 2008. This transaction was awarded the “Most Innovative Deal of the Year” in the Indian Securitisation Awards, 2021.
- Replenishing securitisation under the 2019 securitisation directions of the RBI. This transaction was awarded the “Most Innovative Deal of the Year” in the Indian Securitisation Awards, 2019.
- Listed securitisation of receivables arising out of secured bonds/NCDs held by Fourdegreewater Services (d/b/a Wint Wealth) and issued by several companies (including NBFCs and HFCs). This transaction is one of the first few issuances of listed SDIs where receivables pursuant to secured bonds/NCDs were securitised. Following this transaction, Wint Wealth completed another listed securitisation (Wint Basket – 02) on similar lines.
- Listed and “simple, transparent and comparable” (STC) securitisation of receivables arising from certain identified loans provided by Kogta Financial. This transaction, arranged by AK Capital, was one of the first few listed STC securitisation transactions since the RBI’s revised directions on securitisation of 2021.
- Listed and “simple, transparent and comparable” (STC) securitisation of receivables arising from certain identified loans provided by Ashv Finance. This transaction, arranged by AK Capital, was one of the first few listed STC securitisation transactions since the RBI’s revised directions on securitisation of 2021.
- Replenishment securitisation of receivables arising from certain identified unsecured business loans provided by UGRO Capital originated by way of various co-lending arrangements, and/or business correspondent arrangements/alliance agreements entered into by UGRO Capital with various co-lending partners and business correspondents.
