Overview

Amar Narula is part of the Projects practice at Trilegal and his primary areas of practice are energy and infrastructure projects. He has represented the government, lenders, sponsors and developers on projects in various energy and infrastructure sectors such as power, roads, ports and agricultural storage.​

He has significant experience in advising on all aspects of renewable energy projects (wind, solar and solar rooftop), including contractual and regulatory issues. He has advised on power purchase agreements, fuel supply and transport arrangements, financing agreements, engineering and procurement contracts EPC and O&M contracts and mine developer and operator contracts.​ His experience includes advising on transaction structures and regulatory frameworks for project development; bankability analysis and due diligence; conducting bid processes; drafting and negotiating tender documents, concession agreements, construction contracts, supply contracts, operation and maintenance contracts and off-take agreements.
