Overview
Ankush Goyal is a Partner based at Trilegal’s Delhi office. He has a diverse practice portfolio encompassing private equity, public and private M&A and debt transactions, with a focus on distressed assets. He has significant experience in strategic M&A and joint ventures for European and US clients, and has acted for investors and target companies in private equity transactions.
Ankush has advised on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including minority stake purchases, control deals and exits involving multiple co-investors in telecom, manufacturing, infrastructure, financial services and e-commerce. He actively advises and represents clients on investments in distressed assets, including debt buy-outs, corporate finance raises, restructuring of domestic debt and hybrid buy-outs involving debt and equity restructuring.

- Hyundai Motor India Ltd on acquisition of certain identified assets from General Motor India Ltd
- Goldman Sachs on (i) multiple rounds of funding and eventually exit from Tikona; and (ii) multiple rounds of investment in Fabhotels
- Consortium of Virgin Hyperloop and DP World FZE, on set up of the pilot Hyperloop system in India
