Overview
Brajendu Bhaskar is a Partner in the Capital Markets practice of Trilegal. Brajendu acts on a broad range of capital market transactions for both underwriters and domestic and international issuers. His experience includes advising on equity capital market transactions, including Rule 144A offerings (IPOs, QIPs and rights issues) by Indian companies, and foreign institutional investments into India. He has advised on vanilla and structured debt issuances (Regulation S and Rule 144A standalone issues, EMTN programmes, high-yield bonds, covered bonds) and re-financing and liability management transactions.
Prior to joining Trilegal, Brajendu worked with a leading law firm in Mumbai and New Delhi, and a magic circle law firm in London.

- Advised on the IPO by Star Health and Allied Insurance Company. This was the first IPO by a standalone health insurance company in India.
- Advised on the IPO by Fino Payments Bank. This was the first IPO by a payments bank in India.
- Advised on the IPO of Ecos (India). This was the first IPO by a first pure play rental automobiles company in India.
- Advised on the IPO of Premier Energies Limited.
- Advised Premji Invest, KKR, Softbank, Alpha Wave and other institutional investors on the initial public offering of Lenskart Solutions Limited.
- QIPs by Godrej Properties Limited and Prestige Estates.
- Rights issue of partly paid-up equity shares and warrants by Mold-Tek Packaging Limited. This was the first rights issue in India of partly paid up shares together with warrants.
- Advised on the rights issue of equity shares by Piramal Pharma Limited.
- Advised on the rights issue of Vodafone Idea Limited, the then largest rights issue in Indian capital markets.
- Offer for sale through the stock exchange mechanism by the Government of India of the equity shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
- Notes offering by HCL America Inc. and guaranteed by HCL Technologies Limited.
