Overview

Chitra is a Partner at Trilegal and focuses on complex commercial litigation, insolvency, white-collar criminal defense and investigation and arbitration. She has a wide range of experience and regularly advises and represents Indian and multinational corporations before various courts and tribunals in India. Notably, she has advised and successfully represented a successful resolution applicant in the first ever corporate insolvency resolution process of a non-banking financial company.

She also regularly advises and represents Indian and multinational corporations and HNIs before Central and State investigative authorities, including Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate, Economic Offences Wing and State Police, in sensitive investigations. In addition to this, she regularly conducts anti-bribery and anti-corruption training workshops for Indian and multinational corporations.
