Overview

Dhruv Gupta is a Partner in the Delhi office of Trilegal and part of Tax practice group. He has rich experience of over 17 years in areas of International Trade and Indirect Taxation including Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, Free Trade Agreements, Goods and Services Tax and allied laws. He has represented multinationals, industry associations and governments in more than 400 anti-dumping, countervailing duty and safeguard investigations conducted by India, EU, US, China, Canada, Turkey, Australia, South Africa etc. He has also represented domestic industry of India in anti-dumping, countervailing duty and safeguard investigations conducted by India. He regularly appears before Revenue Authorities, Tribunals, High Courts and Supreme Court in matters concerning International Trade and Indirect Taxation.

He has worked for clients across industries such as steel, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, electronics, capital goods etc. He has experience of working with a European law firm (Paris) where he advised multinational companies facing customs and VAT issues in the EU.
