Overview

Karishma Dodeja is a Partner in Trilegal’s Corporate practice. Her primary practice areas are private equity, restructuring and insolvency, special situations, distressed transactions and workouts, with a specific focus on the (Indian) Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 (IBC).

She regularly advises and represents resolution professionals, borrowers, institutional creditors (majority and minority representation), asset reconstruction companies, acquirers of distressed debt and creditor committees on all matters IBC – this includes, strategic advisory, representation in insolvency and liquidation proceedings and advising on litigation. She has assisted on some of the highly complex and market firsts in the IBC space. She also advises international corporations on private equity transactions in India.
