Overview
Kirti is a mechanical engineer turned intellectual property lawyer with almost 12 years of work experience in advising clients on IP strategy, monetization, licensing, and enforcement.
She advises clients on issues arising throughout the lifecycle of intellectual property assets, including IP adoption/product launch strategy, filing and obtaining IP registrations, intellectual property policy and corporate management of IP, licensing and monetisation arrangements (cross-border patent/technology/know-how licensing, franchising, IP assignments), enforcement and protection, and advisory for corporate commercial transactions.
Kirti extensively advises businesses and investors on strategies for the protection and enforcement of intellectual property assets, as well as defending enforcement actions. She has experience litigating before various high courts and tribunals, including the Trade Marks Registry, and the National Internet Exchange of India.
Kirti has experience with clients in the pharmaceutical, defence, engineering and renewables, automobiles, entertainment, banking, and software industries.
