Komal Dani is a Partner at Trilegal. She has been advising various Indian and multinational groups on both, international tax and domestic tax laws of India. She has more than 11 years of experience in tax aspects of mergers & acquisitions.

She has assisted clients with matters relating to establishing a business presence, carve-outs, hive-offs, mergers, repatriation strategies, tax structuring, and employment taxation.

She has been involved in advising clients on the taxation of securitised assets and investments in Alternate Investment Funds using FVCI and FII vehicles. She advises some of the global private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds and multi-national corporations cutting across sectors. She has assisted in advising some of the largest pension boards, sovereign and private equity funds across the globe, and handled transactions involving complex tax issues, both cross-border and domestic tax laws of India.

Prior to joining Trilegal, Komal worked with one of the leading law firms in India and one of the Big Four accountancy firms.
