Murtaza Zoomkawala is a Partner in the Corporate practice group at Trilegal with a career spanning over 10 years. He specializes in international and domestic capital markets transactions (both equity and debt), regulatory practice, securities laws and public mergers and acquisitions. He has advised various companies, promoters, investor selling shareholders, investment banking groups, and other intermediaries registered with SEBI, on Indian law issues, across varying aspects of securities law, and executed various capital markets transactions such as initial public offerings (IPOs), qualified institutions placements (QIPs), buybacks, rights issues, preferential allotments, bulk / block trades in listed scrips, public issues of debt, international bond offerings / establishment and updates of high yield bonds, masala bonds, social bonds and green bonds.

He has also advised on various aspects of securities regulations issued by SEBI on investment / acquisition of shares in Indian listed companies, takeover regulations, buy-backs, prevention of insider trading and listing.
