Overview
Nayantara Nag is a Partner in the Projects practice in Trilegal. She has significant experience in representing the government, lenders, sponsors, developers and contractors in infrastructure projects across various sectors such as power, oil and gas, transport, social infrastructure, water, waste management, and smart cities.
Nayantara advises on transaction structures and regulatory framework for project development; conducting legal reviews, bankability analysis and due diligence; conducting bid processes; drafting, review and negotiation of bid documents, concession agreements, construction contracts, supply contracts, consultancy contracts, operation and maintenance contracts, power purchase agreements and off-take agreements. While Nayantara has advised clients on high-profile M&A and joint venture transactions in the energy and infrastructure space, she has an equally enviable track record of advising on greenfield project development and innovative and first-of-its-kind public-private partnership projects in various sectors.

- IFC and Government of Odisha, in relation to developing affordable housing facilities on a PPP basis in Bhubaneshwar

development of wastewater treatment facilities with private sector participation in the cities of Matura-Vrindavan, Varanasi and Haridwar to support the rejuvenation of Ganga under the “Namami Gange” program to be implemented on PPP basis
