Rudresh Singh is a Partner in Trilegal’s Competition Law practice in New Delhi. He represents clients before the Competition Commission of India (CCI), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India in both merger control and behavioural matters.
He advises international and domestic clients on merger control in India. He has filed several long-form and short-form merger notifications in sectors such as infrastructure, packaging, financial services, technology, IT & ITes, oil and gas, telecommunications, power, ports, agro-chemicals, insurance, steel, cement, e-commerce, automotives and components, road assets, construction, hospitals, pharmaceuticals etc. Rudresh is the preferred counsel for multi-jurisdictional deals for UK, US, Japan, Singapore and China-based clients, with vast experience in antitrust law, leading and coordinating multi-jurisdictional anti-trust filings. He also has significant experience in investigations of digital platforms and leniencies.
Rudresh was recently recognised among leading competition lawyers – as Next Generation partner by Legal500 in 2025; India’s Future Legal Leader by IBLJ in 2024; and ranked by Chambers and Partners, Asia-Pacific and Global for Competition, 2025 and 2024. He has also been recognised as a key individual for competition laws in India by Legal500 for four consecutive years
Rudresh has been invited as a “key expert” by the Centre of AI / Machine Learning, Management Development Institute, India for its crucial study on Competition and Artificial Intelligence, which is being conducted under the aegis of the CCI.
