Overview

Sanjam Arora is a Partner in the Corporate practice at Trilegal, focussing on M&A and PE transactions (involving both public and private targets).

Sanjam regularly advises on large transactions involving both strategic and financial investors. She has specialised expertise in takeovers of public targets / PIPEs, strategic joint ventures, investments in stressed assets and contentious exits. Her experience spans varied sectors, with a focus on regulated sectors such as financial services (including banks/NBFCs, insurance, mutual funds and fintech), healthcare, manufacturing and infrastructure (including renewable energy).

Sanjam also provides strategic-legal advice on complex mandates, including on areas of securities laws, financial services regulations and corporate governance as well as on contentious matters including shareholder and regulatory disputes. She regularly advises boards of listed companies on governance matters.

Sanjam is a member of FICCI’s Committee on Corporate Governance and Corporate Laws.
