Overview

Shreya is a Partner in the White-Collar Crimes (Investigations) practice. She has significant experience in handling complex, cross-border forensic investigations and mandates involving a broad spectrum of criminal allegations such as bribery and corruption, money laundering, financial and employee fraud, and investigations of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues. Shreya couples this experience with helping clients navigate overseas economic and national security sanctions, as well as debarments and sanctions imposed by Multilateral Development Banks and International Financial Institutions.

Along with the above, Shreya’s practice encompasses advising on anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, and sanctions due diligence, and Indian anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws and regulations.

Shreya has acted for clients spanning marquee global private equity firms and international investors; multinationals subject to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act, France’s Sapin II, the Canadian Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act, etc.; companies listed on Indian stock exchanges, etc. She has represented clients in industries such as alcoholic beverages, renewables, roads and highways, materials manufacturing, chemicals, waste management, agri-feeds, banking and insurance, precious materials, commodities traders, project management consultants, etc.
