Overview
Wiseroy Damodaran is a Partner in the Bengaluru office of Trilegal and is part of the Corporate practice group. Wiseroy primarily focuses on M&A, private equity and venture capital work. Over the last 12+ years, Roy has represented investors as well as startups, growth stage companies and their promoters on fund-raising transactions, strategic acquisitions, mergers, demergers, acqui-hires, structuring employee stock option schemes, exits by way of swaps, business transfers and other general corporate advisory work.
Roy has also been involved in several complex M&A deals involving restructuring of businesses and representing clients before authorities such as the (erstwhile) Foreign Investment Promotion Board, Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs in connection with regulatory matters and transaction approvals.
Roy has represented clients across sectors on equity fundraising transactions, including Lithium Urban Technologies, Streak AI, MobilizAR, Belong, Intuor Labs, and EpiFi Technologies.
