Deal: Acquisition by 360 ONE WAM of Times Internet’s wealth advisory platform ET Money

Trilegal acted as the legal advisor to Moneygoals Solutions Limited (“Company”) and Times Internet Limited (parent of the Company).
360 ONE WAM, a leading wealth management firm, has entered into definitive agreements to undertake a strategic acquisition of Times Internet Limited’s wealth advisory platform ET Money for approx. Rs 366 crores, the closing of which will occur upon receipt of requisite governmental approvals. ET Money has 900,000 transacting clients with more than 100,000 revenue-generating users. It tracks an overall AUM of Rs 70,000 crore. The platform has gross monthly sales of over Rs 1,200 crore, with SIPs amounting to Rs 450 crore monthly and MF net flows of nearly Rs 750 crore per month.
The acquisition is a part cash, part stock deal with the cash element being approx. INR 86 crore and balance being paid through listed stock of 360 One WAM amounting to approx. INR 280 crore.
