Trilegal advised the DSP group in connection with (i) the pre-merger investment by DSP Finance Private Limited (DSP Finance) in Salter Technologies Private Limited (Volt Money), and (ii) the amalgamation/merger of Volt Money into DSP Finance.
The transaction involved a primary issuance of shares by Volt Money to DSP Finance, along with the acquisition of shares from certain existing shareholders of Volt Money, including its founders, by DSP Finance and its related persons. This was followed by an NCLT approved merger process through which Volt Money was amalgamated into DSP Finance.
