Deal: Hyundai Motor’s acquisition of General Motors India’s identified assets at the manufacturing facility in Talegaon

Trilegal is representing Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on its acquisition of identified assets, land and buildings, plant and machinery situated at General Motors India Private Limited (GM INDIA) manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Maharashtra.
The parties executed an Asset Purchase Agreement on 16 August 2023, and the transaction is subject to the fulfillment of customary conditions precedent (including relevant governmental and regulatory approvals).
The deal is being led by our Partner and Head of Corporate practice, Yogesh Singh, and Partner Ankush Goyal, along with Apeksha Mattoo (Labour and Employment), Gautam Chawla (Competition), and Siddharth Ranade (Dispute Resolution).
