Deal: Nuvama and Cushman & Wakefield’s strategic 50:50 joint venture for investing in commercial real estate assets in India

Trilegal advised Cushman & Wakefield PLC, through its Indian subsidiary Cushman and Wakefield India Private Limited (Cushman), on its strategic 50:50 joint venture (JV) with Nuvama Asset Management Limited (Nuvama) for investing in commercial real estate assets in India. The JV entity proposes to raise its first fund, with a target corpus of INR 3,000 crores, that will be investing in prime commercial real estate across India’s high-growth markets.

The JV aims to leverage Nuvama and Cushman’s expertise in investment management and commercial real estate, respectively, to offer Indian investors a platform to invest in commercial real estate assets in India.

Our Partners Sai Krishna Bharathan and Shivani Kabra (Corporate) led the deal along with our Partners.
