Deal: Shree Renuka Sugars Limited’s acquisition of Anamika Sugar Mills Private Limited

Trilegal advised public listed company, Shree Renuka Sugars Limited (a subsidiary of Wilmar International Limited, one of Asia’s leading agribusiness groups and listed in Singapore) on its acquisition of 100% shareholding in Anamika Sugar Mills Private Limited (Target), which is engaged in manufacturing of sugar and related products. The transaction was structured through a combination of secondary purchase and primary infusion (the proceeds of which were utilised to redeem outstanding debt of the target).

The team led by Sanjam Arora (Partner – Corporate), comprising Shashwat Sharma (Counsel – Corporate), Sanjna Vijh (Senior Associate – Corporate), and Prashant Khurana, and Ekjot Dang (Associates – Corporate), advised Shree Renuka Sugars on all aspects of the transaction.
