Trilegal represented Apax Partners LLP (“AP”) in securing an unconditional approval from the Competition Commission of India (“CCI”) pertaining to its acquisition of approximately 30% shareholding in IBS Software Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) (“IBS”) from Blackstone Inc. (“Proposed Transaction”).
AP is a limited liability partnership incorporated under the laws of United Kingdom and the parent of a number of entities which provide investment advisory services to private equity funds investing in a range of industry sectors.
IBS is a private company incorporated under the laws of Singapore, and is the parent company of the IBS group of companies, which is a leading provider of innovative modern Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) solutions to the global travel and logistics industry. IBS provides next-generation SaaS solutions that power the most mission-critical operations at the world’s leading aviation, tour and cruise, hospitality and logistics companies, and helps travel companies accelerate innovation and drive efficiency across a broad set of core business processes. IBS also provides the widest range of software products to the air transportation industry.
