Trilegal advised on the successful listing of Kanohar Electricals Limited following its INR 10,557 million initial public offering of equity shares. The IPO comprised a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to INR 3,000 million and an offer for sale of equity shares aggregating to INR 7,557 million by K Sons Family Trust, the promoter selling shareholder. The offering also included a pre-IPO sale, pursuant to which the promoter selling shareholder sold equity shares aggregating to INR 2,000 million to certain prominent long-term investors.
Kanohar is one of India’s leading transformer manufacturers by revenue for Fiscal 2026, catering to high-growth sectors such as power transmission, railways, renewable energy and power distribution.
