Trilegal adds Pranav Sharma and Mallika Chopra as partners in the banking and finance practice

Trilegal announced today the appointment of Pranav Sharma and Mallika Chopra as partners in its Banking and Finance practice. With this, the partnership strength of Trilegal grows to sixty-five (65).

About Pranav Sharma and Mallika Chopra (incoming partners)

Pranav Sharma specialises in banking & finance and debt capital markets and has 20 years of indepth experience in these areas. In addition to acting for leading banks and financial institutions and other credit providers on all forms of onshore and offshore financings, Pranav also regularly represents sponsors and borrowers on such financings. He joins us from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. Prior to that, he was a Managing Associate in the banking group of Linklaters LLP in London. He is dual qualified under both Indian and English law. Pranav consistently features as a recognised Banking & Finance lawyer in IFLR 1000 and The Legal 500.

Mallika Chopra advises across a wide spectrum of banking and financing matters with a special focus on structured debt transactions, real estate and asset backed financings. She regularly represents lenders (both domestic and overseas institutions) as well as private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers. Mallika will be joining Trilegal from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas where she has been a partner in the Banking and Finance practice. She has also worked at ICICI Bank.

Pranav and Mallika have acted for sponsors, borrowers, lending institutions (including multilateral agencies) and export credit agencies across a wide spectrum of banking and finance transactions. Their expertise includes acquisition and sponsor finance, real estate finance, share or receivables backed financings, structured finance and trade finance.
