Trilegal acted as the legal advisor to JM Financial India Growth III (“JM Financial“) in connection with its investment in Energy Beverages Private Limited (“Company“). Our scope of work included: (a) structuring the proposed transaction; (b) undertaking the legal due diligence of the Company; (c) drafting, review, negotiation and finalisation of all definitive documents; and (d) assistance in relation to completion of conditions precedent and undertaking closing actions.
Energy Beverages Private Limited owns a fast-growing national bottled water under the brand “Clear”. Clear is one of the fastest-growing bottled water brands with a pan-India presence and the Company is strategically expanding its distribution across the nation. Proceeds from the investment will support brand building initiatives and enhancing the existing capacities and distribution network of the Company.
