Trilegal advised on the QIP by Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services

Trilegal advised on the qualified institutions placement of equity shares (“QIP”) aggregating to INR 5.94 billion by Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Limited (“Zaggle”).

This marks the first QIP by Zaggle after its initial public offering in 2023, on which Trilegal advised as well. Zaggle is a software-as-a-service fintech platform, digitising spends with automated workflows tailored for businesses.

The QIP proceeds are proposed to be utilized for strategic investments, acquisitions and inorganic growth opportunities, pre-payment/ re-payment of certain outstanding borrowings and general corporate purposes.

We advised the lead managers, which comprised Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited, Equirus Capital Private Limited and Nuvama Wealth Management Limited.

The Trilegal team advising on the matter was led by Richa Choudhary, and comprised counsel, Avanti Kale and Maitreya Rajurkar, Senior Associate, Sanya Chaudhari and Associates, Yug Gambhir and Kartikeya Anshu.
