Deal: Trilegal advises Promoter Group of Polyplex Corporation in selling their minority stake to AGP Holdco

Trilegal advised Promoter Group of Polyplex Corporation Limited, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of polyester film, on the sale of a minority stake in the company to AGP Holdco Limited, part of the Al-Ghurair Group based in UAE. The parties have executed a binding term sheet on 23 May 2023, and transaction is subject to execution of definitive agreements and fulfilment of customary conditions precedent (including relevant governmental and regulatory approvals).
The deal was led by our Partner and Head of the Corporate practice Yogesh Singh and Partner Ankush Goyal. Gautam Chawla (Competition), Rahul Arora (Real Estate), and Atul Gupta (Labour and Employment) were other key Partners involved from the Trilegal team.
