April 15, 2022: Following its recent internal counsel promotions to the partnership, Trilegal, one of India’s leading law firms, today announced that the partnership had voted to invite two new Partners to join its disputes practice. Anuj Berry and Vishrov Mukerjee are expected to join Trilegal in the next few months. With this, the partnership strength of Trilegal grows to seventy-nine (79). About 18 months ago the firm had hired Nitesh Jain, then with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, to bolster its disputes practice in Mumbai.

About Anuj Berry and Vishrov Mukerjee
Anuj Berry has over 15 years of experience and has managed a diverse practice portfolio specializing in general commercial litigation and white-collar defense matters encompassing regulatory investigations and internal investigations. He has worked on litigation including shareholder disputes, company law-related disputes, litigation concerning the Competition Act 2002, and white-collar defense matters. He was previously with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas where he has been a partner since 2015 and has been recognised as a leading professional in the white-collar crime area by the Chambers Asia Pacific Rankings 2020 and 2021 and features among the world’s top 40 young investigations specialists by Global Investigations Review (GIR) 40 Under 40, 2020.
Vishrov Mukerjee has over 15 years of experience and his practice portfolio encompasses regulatory disputes, arbitration in the infrastructure sector and commercial litigation. He has worked on several complex matters, including issues pertaining to changes in law, powers of Regulatory Commissions, and compensatory mechanisms for the cancellation of coal blocks. In the non-regulatory (litigation and arbitration practice), Vishrov has secured mandates for arbitrations in the highway sector as well as commercial disputes and has handled arbitrations involving very high-value claims. He was previously with J. Sagar Associates where he has been a partner since 2016.
