Trilegal invites Milanka Chaudhury to join the partnership in the Dispute Resolution practice

03 July 2023: Trilegal, one of India’s leading law firms, announced today that its partnership has invited Milanka Chaudhury to join the firm as a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice in Delhi, taking the firm’s partnership strength to 104. Milanka specialises in litigation and arbitration in the infrastructure sector, with a special focus on the airports industry, particularly airport regulatory disputes before the Appellate Tribunal and the Supreme Court, aircraft lessor disputes, and general aviation-related disputes for multiple airport operators.

Milanka Chaudhury has 23 years of experience in dispute resolution with a special focus on litigation and arbitration, primarily in the infrastructure sector. He has extensively worked in aviation, energy, roads and railways sectors with a sharp focus on regulatory disputes in the airports sector. During his career, he has worked on several complex, high-stakes and headline-making disputes which have since become market precedents. These include the privatisation of the Delhi Airport, the first-ever judgment of the Supreme Court on airport tariffs and challenge to the levy of Development Fee at airports.
