Trilegal invites Rajat Jariwal to join the partnership in the disputes practice

Continuing its efforts to grow its disputes practice, Trilegal, one of India’s leading law firms, today announced that the partnership has voted to invite Rajat Jariwal to join its disputes practice at New Delhi. He is expected to join Trilegal in the next few months, taking the partnership strength of the firm to eighty-two (82). In addition to civil/ commercial matters, Mr. Jariwal also specialises in environment defense litigation and environment advisory. He joins a growing list of recent hires at the firm who bring capabilities in emerging areas.

About Rajat Jariwal (incoming partner)

Rajat Jariwal is a civil/commercial litigation lawyer who specialises in environment defense litigation and environment advisory. He has over 17 years of experience and regularly appears before the Supreme Court and National Green Tribunal (NGT). He has been advising and representing MNCs in many high-stakes environment litigations. He also advises on general civil/commercial disputes, including shareholder disputes (both before NCLT and arbitral tribunals- institutional and ad-hoc), tender matters, defamation matters, and mining matters arising out of the MMDR Act. Rajat has been recognised as a leading lawyer in Forbes India Legal Power List 2021 and the environment practice that he was part of at his previous firm was recognised by IBLJ in 2022.
