Trilegal invites Veena Gopalakrishnan to the Partnership in the Labour and Employment practice

November 18, 2022: Trilegal, one of India’s leading law firms, announced that its partnership had voted to invite employment lawyer Veena Gopalakrishnan to join the firm as a Partner in the Labour and Employment practice at Bengaluru. With her joining, the partnership strength of Trilegal will go to eighty-seven (87).

About Veena Gopalakrishnan

Veena Gopalakrishnan has 14 years of experience in employment law advisory, specialising in complex issues relating to workforce structuring, employee mobility, employee benefits (including stock-linked benefits), contentious senior managerial exits, reductions in force, and closures.

She has extensive experience in advising on laws pertaining to workplace sexual harassment and discrimination and regularly advises and guides clients on reacting and responding to discrimination and workplace harassment issues. Veena has actively worked with organisations and industry bodies to conduct workshops and awareness programs on creating respectful workplaces, policy building, workplace sexual harassment, LGBTIQ inclusion, and diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace. She is also the Vice-Chair of the Employment and Immigration Law Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.

Owing to her extensive knowledge of employment law issues and track record of excellence, she has been recognised as an ‘Up and Coming’ Employment lawyer by Chambers and Partners (2021-2022) and as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ for Labour and Employment by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific (2021-2022).
