Trilegal is advising Studds Accessories (“Studds”) and the selling shareholders as their legal advisor on the proposed initial public offering of equity shares (“IPO”). The book running lead managers are IIFL Capital Services Limited and ICICI Securities Limited.
The proposed IPO comprises an offer for sale of 7,786,120 equity shares by the selling shareholders.
Studds designs, manufactures, markets and sells (i) two-wheeler helmets under the ‘Studds’ and ‘SMK’ brands and (ii) other accessories (such as two-wheeler luggage, gloves, helmet locking device, rain suits, riding jacket and eye wear) under the ‘Studds’ brand. Its products are sold across India and in over 70 countries worldwide, with major export markets in the Americas, Asia, Europe, and beyond. In Fiscal 2023, Studds was India’s largest two-wheeler helmet player by revenue and also the world’s largest two-wheeler helmet player by volume in Calendar Year 2024.
