Trilegal represented Sembcorp Industries (through its Indian group company Green Infra Wind Energy Limited) in its acquisition of 100% of the securities of Vector Green Energy Private Limited (and its 16 subsidiaries) from India Infrastructure Fund II, an alternative investment fund managed by Global Infrastructure Partners, for a consideration of approximately INR 27.8 billion (USD336 million).
The deal was led by our Partners Neeraj Menon (Head – Projects), Charandeep Kaur (Corporate) and Clarence Anthony (Corporate). Other partners involved were Nisha Kaur Uberoi, National Head – Competition Law, Rahul Arora (Real Estate), Tine Abraham (Disputes), and Gautam Chabra (Projects).
