Trilegal advised Brookfield Asset Management on the sale of its 1.6 GW renewable energy portfolio in India to Gentari Renewables India.
This transaction, structured in two phases, marks Brookfield’s first full-cycle portfolio monetization in the country for its Renewable Power & Transition business.
Trilegal acted as the transaction counsel for Brookfield and advised on all legal aspects of the sale process until closing of the transaction with Gentari.
